There are several ways to get in touch with me, the most obvious probably being e-mail. In case you wish to discuss things you would not write on a postcard, my OpenPGP (PGP, GnuPG) key information is available below. I discuss the matter of e-mail security in more depth elsewhere on my web site, or you can visit the GNU Privacy Guard or International PGP web sites for more information. I also have an ICQ account (number 48858218), which I check on an irregular basis.
When sending e-mail, be sure to use good Subject lines, or your mail may very well get deleted without ever being looked at. The outrageous amount of spam I receive has unfortunately made it necessary for me to filter my incoming e-mail rather aggressively. In addition to spam filtering, some specifically virus-prone file types are rejected by the mail server. These include for example .exe (Microsoft Windows executable files) and .pif (Windows Program Information File). If this is a problem for you, compress or rename the file in question before attaching it to your e-mail. Remember that Windows executable files are unusable to me. If you attach any files that the security settings disallow, the message will bounce telling you so.
I also, of course, have a physical mailing address. If you have a need to send me something by post, e-mail me beforehand and I will give you the address.
Those so licensed can also contact me through amateur radio. The surest way of doing that is looking for me in the evenings European time on or in the vicinity of 3750 kHz LSB. If you are interested, you can read more about amateur radio elsewhere on my web site.
Unsolicited commercial and/or bulk e-mails (commonly known as spam) are reported to the Internet provider of origin on an ongoing and regular basis. The posting of any e-mail addresses on this web site or elsewhere does not constitute agreement to receive any such mailings.
I hold two current OpenPGP keys, however only use one of them. The reason for this is that the older key pair carries several outdated IDs and e-mail addresses, which have or are going to cease functioning within the near future.
The current key, which you should use if at all possible, is the 1024/4096-bit DSS/Diffie-Hellman key pair ID 758F8749 BDE9ADA6, generated April 22nd, 2003. The fingerprint for that key is 3723 9372 C245 D6A8 18A6 36AC 758F 8749 BDE9 ADA6, which has been included in every e-mail I have sent beginning 22 Apr 2003 21:00 UTC (23:00 Swedish local time). You can aquire the key through the Swedish Linux User's Group's key server, any other key server with which it exchanges keys by searching for my e-mail address, by e-mail request or (strongly discouraged) directly from my web site in ASCII-armored format.
My old key, which is still perfectly valid (although the reply will be signed using my new key), is also a 1024/4096-bit DH/DSS key pair with ID 2AA37BFD 8A70E33E, generated October 11th, 1997. The fingerprint is 95F1 074D 336D F8F0 F297 6A5B 2AA3 7BFD 8A70 E33E (included in e-mails dated from 01 Jan 2003 14:45 UTC until 09 Aug 2003 11:00 UTC), and the key is on SLUG's key server, most other key servers in the world, available by e-mail request and (though I still strongly discourage this) right here on my web site. Pleaes keep in mind that there are outdated user IDs on this key.
The two keys above are cross-signed, to make it possible for one holding a trusted copy of either one to verify the integrity of the other. I also used to have a RSA key (key ID 0x55478F55, generated 1996 March 15), the corresponding secret key for which has since long been lost. That key has been revoked to ensure that it is not used, but to the best of my knowledge it was never actually compromised. The revocation certificate is available through key servers (SLUG) as well as right here on my web site. This key also signs one of the user IDs on my old, still used key, establishing some path of trust between all of my keys, past and present.
